Terms and Conditions

These are the Terms and Conditions that will apply to any booking and govern your participation in any wellness retreat organized by Thurayya Marketing Services and Events FZE (“Thurayya Retreats”). 

These terms shall constitute the entire agreement between Thurayya Retreats and the Participant relating to the subject matter herein, and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written representation, warranty, prior agreement, or description of services, other than as expressed herein. 

By booking a retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions that govern the relationship, the cancellation policy, and limitations of liability. These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and designate the governing law and forum for the resolution of any and all disputes.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT POLICY

To secure your booking on a retreat, a deposit of USD $500 per person is required along with completion of our online registration form. This deposit secures your spot on the retreat and covers non-refundable essentials. Room selections will be made in the order of which deposits are received.

The remaining balance may be paid in installments, which will be agreed upon on an individual basis. The payment schedule will be outlined in a booking confirmation document that will be sent to you within one week of your deposit payment. Regardless of the payment schedule, the remaining balance must be paid in full at least 10 days prior to the start of the retreat unless otherwise specified in the booking confirmation. Failure to make the final payment on time may result in the forfeiture of your spot without refund.

You may choose to pay using one of our approved payment channels, including direct bank transfer, Wise, PayPal, Revolut, or by credit card when available and if eligible.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

Written Notice Required: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (via email or WhatsApp) and will only be considered valid once acknowledged by Thurayya Retreats in writing (via email or WhatsApp).

Cancellation by Participant
If you choose to cancel your retreat booking:

  • Deposits and payments are fully refundable if cancellation is made 60 or more days prior to the retreat start date. 

  • If cancellation occurs between 30 and 60 days prior to the retreat start date, all payments (including the deposit) will be held and may be applied as credit toward a future retreat within 12 months. 

  • If cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the retreat, we will attempt to backfill the spot. If the spot is not filled, your payment will not be returned. If the spot is successfully filled, your payments may be refunded, but all costs associated with securing the replacement booking (including price discounts) will be deducted from your refund amount. 

  • All fees (transaction fees, foreign exchange fees, etc) must be paid by the cancelling participant. 

We encourage our attendees to thoughtfully consider their plans and commitments before booking. We are committed to providing a transformative retreat experience and are here to address any questions you may have regarding our cancellation policy.

Cancellation by Thurayya Retreats

Thurayya Retreats reserves the right to cancel any retreat for any reason,  including but not limited to insufficient bookings, unforeseen natural disasters, political instability, or other force majeure events. In such cases, participants will be offered the following options:

  • Transfer their total amount paid to a future retreat 

  • Receive a full refund of all payments made under the contract.

Thurayya Retreats is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses the participant may have incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights, or rail tickets.

TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE

Thurayya Retreats recommends participants obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance that includes coverage for personal injury, trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and repatriation.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Each participant must possess a valid passport (valid for at least six months after return date), along with all entry visas, permits, certificates, insurance policies and any other documentation necessary for travel to the retreat destination. The participant accepts full responsibility for obtaining all necessary documents prior to departure. Thurayya Retreats is not responsible for denial of entry or inability to attend the retreat due to improper documentation.

FLIGHTS AND TRANSPORTATION

All participants are responsible for booking and covering the cost of their own flights and transportation to and from the retreat location, unless otherwise explicitly stated. We do not accept any liability for missed flights, delays, or transportation disruptions.

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Participants acknowledge that travel can present certain risks, dangers, and physical challenges beyond those encountered in daily life. Participants  are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health and fitness for the retreat experience.

SUPPLIERS & INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS

Thurayya Retreats may use independent third-party providers or contractors to deliver certain retreat services. While we strive to select reputable partners, we are not responsible for the performance, acts, omissions, or negligence of any such third parties.

SAFETY & TRIP ENJOYMENT

Participants must comply with all rules and regulations imposed by Thurayya Retreats, its guides and its suppliers. Any participant who poses a risk to themselves, others, or the environment may be removed from the retreat without a refund.

HEALTH & FITNESS

Some retreats may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions. By participating in a retreat, you confirm that you are in good health and physically able to take part in retreat activities. You agree to disclose any relevant health conditions prior to the retreat.

PHOTOS, VIDEO, AND CONTENT CREATION

By attending a retreat, participants agree to be included in photos and videos taken by Thurayya Retreats and its partners. You also grant these parties permission to use any photos or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes, unless otherwise requested in writing.

RETREAT ITINERARY CHANGES

Thurayya Retreats reserves the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary, accommodations, facilitators, or activities due to availability, weather, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide similar alternatives where necessary.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK 

Thurayya Retreats is not responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries sustained by participants due to unforeseen events, third-party actions, or circumstances beyond our control.

You acknowledge that participation in retreat activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, illness, property damage, and other unforeseeable events. By attending, you voluntarily assume all such risks and agree to hold Thurayya Retreats, its staff, contractors, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities.

SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms shall continue to be valid and enforceable.

APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

UPDATING OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thurayya Retreats reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Participants are responsible for reviewing the latest terms before booking.

ACCEPTANCE

By booking and attending a retreat organized by Thurayya Retreats, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
